Lacey & Greg’s beautiful wedding was held at The Hall on Canal & Senate in downtown Columbia.   Lacey is a bride with a great sense of humor!   The moments I enjoyed capturing the most was Lacey and her Dad excitedly sneaking around the corner as they’re about to walk down the aisle.

Other vendors were:

Florist:  Lexington Florist
Cake:  Parkland Cakes (the cake stand was made by her dad)
Catering:  Dupre catering
Linens:  Palmetto Party

Congratulations Lacey & Greg!

P.S. Look for one of Lacey’s photos highlighted in Carolina Bride magazine coming out in January!

Kayla & Ellys

If you need great ideas for your wedding details, you’ll love this wedding!   Kayla & Ellys choose the USC Horseshoe for their engagement photos and Kayla brought along these great wooden date letters that she found at the craft store to use on their Save the Date cards.

Kayla was a stunning model at her bridal portrait which we took at 701 Whaley in downtown Columbia.

The wedding was held in the gardens at 403 North Lake in Lexington.  Some of my favorite personal touches were the super-cute lanterns hanging from the trees that Ellys’ mom made, hand painted signs leading the way to the ceremony and a finger print tree as a guestbook at the reception!

The pictures of Kayla’s ring hand along with that of her mother and Grandmother was one of my favorites of the day.   It’s a simple image but the story behind it is so personal for Kayla and her family.

Other vendors were:

Cake:  Donna Early
Catering:  403 North Lake
Cupcakes:  Cafe Chartier at the Old Mill in Lexington

Congratulations Kayla & Ellys!

Amber & Andrew

Amber & Andrew’s wedding was a first for me because I got to be not only the photographer to this amazing couple but I was also the sister of the maid of honor and the Mom of the flower girl!  Yes, that’s my sweetHart in the poofy skirt!

Amber and Andrew picked the modern and stylish Proximity Hotel in Greensboro NC to host their wedding and reception which magnified Amber’s already amazing sense of style.   (Check out the sparkly Toms for bridal shoes!)

Amber got the opportunity to shop for her breathtaking gown at Kleinfeld’s in New York City where she was chosen to be filmed for “Say Yes to the Dress”!  We’re still waiting to hear an air date for her episode so keep your eyes peeled!

One of my favorite photos of the day is the giggles that came after the couple kissed for photos holding their just married sign.  Its candid moments like this that I really love to watch for and capture- the moments that show who you are and what makes your relationship one-of-a-kind!

Other vendors were:

Rehearsal Dinner:  Iron Hen, Greensboro, NC
Dress:  Kleinfelds Bridal, NY
Flowers:  http://www.etsy.com/people/Ardesign  (Silk bouquet ordered from Etsy and looked amazing!)
Caterer:  Print Works Bistro with The Proximity
Band:  MADD

Amber and Andrew’s wedding was filled beautiful moments of laughter, love and joy.  I love you guys and I wish you both the best in your future together!

Amber & Justin

I had so much fun with Amber taking her bridal portrait at the State House!  She is a natural model.

Amber & Justin’s wedding was held at Ascension Lutheran Church near the Columbia College campus.

The reception was at one of my new favorite venues- 701 Whaley!  This venues has tons of character with an amazing weathered brick wall, white columns and huge windows- and for a photographer the amazing light that pours into the room in the evening is just is icing on the cake.  The talented Scott from American Floral created the most stunning hanging flower arrangement I’d ever seen.

A friend of mine provided their beautiful classic car for Amber & Justin’s get-away, so if that’s something you’d like for your wedding, drop me an email and I’ll send you her contact information!

Some other great vendors that I got to work with at their wedding were:

Venue: 701 Whaley
Cake: Parkland Cakes
Videographer: Charlie Brown Video  803-957-4703
Flowers: Scott of American Floral
Dress: David’s Bridal
Tux: Men’s Warehouse
Caterer: Southern Gourmet

Congratulations Amber & Justin!
